Pablo’s Bowls Will Cure Your Acai Craving

For breakfast on a winter weekend in Ocean City, MD, I popped out down Coastal Hwy to the Pablo’s Bowls downtown location for some takeout acai bowls and smoothies.

I had a slight cold coming on so while I waited for my order, I got a quick shot of ginger, lemon, wheat grass, etc. and it was a quick immune system booster. We chose the Dragonfruit bowl and Trestles bowl, and were pleased with both, although the Trestles stood out because it had chocolate almond milk and peanut butter and will definitely get me to come back. For smoothies, we got Stoked and Sunshine House and the latter was literally like sunshine in a cup.

I love that they are open 7 days a week year-round and they seem to be doing a rockin’ business. They have some killer murals inside and chill reggae playing, so you think you are at the islands even when it is 30 degrees out. They had a really neat wooden display of their top instagram posts.

We came back in the summer to the uptown location and this time got a smoothie in a bowl and the Trestles bowl again. We took pics outside in front of their awesome mural! Ruby was cheesin’ hard at the high school girls who offered to take our pics.
